Market TV: markets on your television, summarized by AI

Market TV brings markets and financial news to the television with AI-generated summaries. What it proves about shipping on unusual platforms and stores.

Market TV is A2GROUP LLC's app for the television. It shows markets and financial news on the big screen, with summaries generated by artificial intelligence, and it is published on Apple TV, Android TV and Fire TV. It is the product that taught us the strangest lessons about software development, most of them impossible to learn on a phone.

The problem: television is a different medium

Nobody reads a market report in the living room. Television is watched from three meters away, with no keyboard, no mouse, and often with something else entirely in your hands. Everything that works on a phone stops working there: tables turn unreadable, long menus become endless, and any text over two lines gets skipped outright.

Market TV accepts that reality. Figures use large type, navigation runs on four remote-control arrows, and information is presented in blocks you can grasp in two seconds without leaning forward. The artificial intelligence does not write paragraphs: it writes headlines and short summaries, because that is all anyone reads from a distance. That constraint looks like a limitation and ends up being the best part of the product.

The result is a screen you can leave on all day, the way people keep a news channel running in the background, but focused only on what that particular person cares about and with no presenter filling the airtime. It is glanced at sideways, understood at once, and never asks anyone to touch anything. It is on the Market TV App Store listing.

Three stores, three worlds

Apple TV, Android TV and Fire TV look like the same platform from a distance. They are not. Each has its own store, its own review process, its own graphic asset requirements, its own way of handling subscriptions, and its own idea of what counts as an acceptable app. What one approves in two days, another sends back over an icon at the wrong size.

Shipping to all three at once forces you to genuinely solve the boring part: versions, free trials, billing, updates and support multiplied by three. That knowledge is only acquired by going through it, and it is exactly the kind of detail that delays a project by two months when nobody planned for it. Publishing to a new platform is never the final ten percent of the work, even though it always looks that way in the proposal.

What it proves about how we work

Market TV is the evidence that an unusual platform, or a distribution channel outside the obvious ones, does not scare us. When a client asks whether something can be published somewhere unusual, the answer comes from having done it, not from guessing.

  • We can design for screens and remotes almost nobody designs for, and that applies to kiosks, factory floor panels or digital signage through software development.
  • We generate AI text shaped for its destination format, short and legible, not trimmed paragraphs. It is the same thing we do in AI automation.
  • We manage several stores with different rules without duplicating the team or the product.
  • When we need people who have done this before, we find them through IT recruiting.
On a television you do not have the user's attention. You have two seconds and three meters of distance.

Where this pattern repeats outside finance

Any company with screens on the wall faces the same problem: a production floor, a clinic reception, a warehouse, an operations room, a dealership showroom. What has to be solved is identical — fresh data, summarized, readable from a distance, with nobody updating it by hand. Most of those screens today show a spreadsheet exported three weeks ago, and everyone in the room knows it.

Market TV shares its engine with AI Investing on mobile and Cala Terminal on the desktop. All three come out of the same studio, and the reasoning is in inside A2GROUP and at a2group.llc.

We work in Spanish and English and in the client's time zone, across Spain, Andorra, LATAM and the United States. Frequently asked questions

What is Market TV?

A television app that shows markets and financial news with summaries generated by artificial intelligence. It is available on Apple TV, Android TV and Fire TV.

Is it hard to publish an app on Apple TV, Android TV and Fire TV?

Each platform has its own store, review process, graphic requirements and subscription handling. The app is reused, but the publishing work is multiplied by three.

Does this approach work for screens in my own company?

Yes. A factory floor, a warehouse or a reception desk have the same problem: fresh data, summarized and readable from a distance, with nobody updating it by hand.
